Lightfield Ammunition Corporation specializes in manufacturing the hardest hitting, most accurate saboted slugs available to today's hunters for use in their rifled shotgun barrels, even at extended ranges. During that all-important split second immediately after a slug is fired and prior to its exiting the barrel, maximum spin is imparted to the locked sabot/slug assembly. Once it clears the muzzle the design produces incredible projectile stability through both the supersonic and especially the subsonic phases of the slug's flight. Maximized projectile spin rate and flight stability are the most important factors when incomparable consistency and accuracy are the goals. 5 rounds per box.

Tried these with my New England Arms Pardner Tracker 2 SB1 20 guage. Was not impressed with the outcome Just do not think they compared as well as some of the other slugs I tested (see reviews) at the yardages I shot. Do not know how penetration is as I did not hunt with them, only sighted in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Caddell Accurate slug
I have been using these slugs for about 5+ years out of a Remington 1100 with a Hastings rifled slug barrel and a 4x32 scope. I have been extremely satisfied with the overall accuracy out to 75-80 yards as that is about as far as I have ever sited it in or shot at a deer. I am sited in at 2 -2 1/2 inches high at 50 yds and it is right on at 75. Very accurate, but I have never dropped one in his tracks even though shot placement has been excellent? I would however recommend although they are getting a little expensive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DaddyK Good Ammo for whitetails
I recently began using a slug gun for Ohio hunting and had the oportunity to try this ammo out in NC due to a township ordinance preventing centerfire ammo. I took one buck with the 2 3/4 slug at 40 yards. It knocked him flat! He went 15 yards after hitting the ground. There was no exit so we were able to recover the slug. Expansion was nearly 1 inch across the width of the mushroom and probably 85% weight retention. Groups out of my 835 with a cantilever rifled barrel were 1-2 inches at 50 yards and 3-4 inches at 100 yards from a bench. Very satisfied with the terminal performance and wil continue to use in OH and NC! Would recommend for highly for areas with shots under 100 yards.
