A: 
For canoe or kayak transportation, it is recommended to use a pair of 1” cam buckle straps over the canoe from side to side attached to a roof rack or if necessary wrapped and re-attached through the windows, products from Bass Pro such as the items noted below. Bow and Stern tie offs are also a good idea. For long trips and in general, cam buckle straps recommended.
