The quality you have come to expect from Leupold (an American company BTW) Crystal clear optics, excellent eye-relief, toughness and fit and finish that equals any optic on the planet. You can pay more, but why? Detail at long range is excellent and the color and contrast are as well.. You can't go wrong with Leupold products and this is one of the finest examples there is. Support American companies, jobs and goods.

The magnification power (optics power such as the 9 in a 3-9x40) refers to the amount of magnifcation of the scope in reference to what you would normally see with the naked eye. In the scenario listed before (3-9x40), this scope has the ability to make the object you are looking at appear nine times closer than the naked eye.1 of 1
