Leupold Acadia I'm not quite sure what the BX-2 means. I bought the Acadia's and no where on the box does it say BX-2. Maybe mine are a little older model which could be why they were on sale. PROS: The glass is as crisp and bright as anyone could ask for and the function of all the moving parts are smooth and snug the way they ought to be. The neck strap is very strong and the case is well made. CONS: The lens covers are a complete joke! I can't believe Leupold would give a thumbs up to this design on even their low end binos. Every piece of hunting glass I own are Leupolds but I still can't get over these covers- they're that bad!! They alone cost this review 2 stars! Touch them and they fall right off. Also, I paid for camo and was a little disappointed to find that the case and neck strap are black. Overall, great binos-super bad lens covers! July 11, 2011
Amazing binoculars Received these and was amazed at the clarity. Also has the legendary Leupold warranty. November 13, 2014
AMAZING! Purchased these yesterday; my very first pair. In a word "AMAZING"! I considered Bushnell and Nikon before I got to the counter however, could not take my eyes off the BX-2's and had to check them out - soooo glad I did. I'm just blown away at the clarity of the optics, especially in low light. Several of my buddies have Bushnell and Nikon and I can't wait to pull these out next time we're fishin' Norris. Great value for the money I was looking at replacing my 10X25 binoculars. I wanted a binocular that had the best clarity when viewing in low light conditions, in the $100 to $200 price range. I initially looked at the usual suspect brands, but didn't consider Leupold. When physically comparing competitive brands, in store, I found the Leupold Acadia 10X42 to have the brightest and clearest image of the bunch in my price range. October 10, 2012

Work well with eyeglasses?

Details:
I want to buy these for my dad and he wears glasses. I looked thru the reviews, but none from those who wear glasses. So what say ye? Are the eye cups adjustable, or will he need to take his glasses off to get a full view?
