Great Performance for the Money Clarity and color as good as more expensive binoculars. Very good low light performance. A good performer for the money. December 3, 2012
exceptional I have been reviewing various optics for a couple of years and finally made my decision and am I pleased! I have a very high end pair of Ziess 10x56 optics that have unreal clarity and low light viewing capabilities. The problem is that they are heavy and quikly cause neck fatigue making them have a low score for bow hunting. In the few weeks that I have used by new BX-2s I have been very impressed with the lightweight, field of view, clarity and low light viewing. While they are not on the same level as my Ziess, from a quality, price, lightweight and comfort comparision, they are not too far behind. I would and will recommend these to anyone. Enjoy! Couldnt Be Happier This is my first time reviewing any product that I have ever bought. I felt obligated to share my thought on the BX-2 Cascades with the world. I purchased these a few weeks ago prior to Gun season to replace an older pair I had. In one word i would say "Outstanding". I looked at not only Leupold but Nikon, Bushnell and others in the same price range. Non of them compared. The quality in these binoculars are impressive. Low light is on point and they are crystal clear. I would make sure to pick a pair of these up and give them a try next time you are at the counter. Nice job Leupold. November 30, 2011
Great optics I can't claim to really know optics, but these are good, solid binocs. I've used mostly for Elk/mule deer hunting out west. These really make the 'resolution' pop, extremely clear, makes things look sharper than the naked eye. Excellent performance in low light. Good mix of lightweight #when worn with a light shoulder-harness, which I highly recommend, almost not noticeable# yet solid enough to be stable and let you hold the image steady #important for 10x#. Waterproofing has held up nicely so far. Finish feels solid in the hand. Cost a pretty penny, but so far totally worth it. February 16, 2013
