A crystal-clear porro-prism binocular enhanced with Leica®'s precision laser rangefinding technology, the Geovid® HD-B gives hunters a powerful 2-in-1 tool in the field. Able to measure distances up to 2,000 yards with impressive accuracy, the HD-B also offers multi-functional ballistic compensating technology to give you a precise point of aim in various conditions. Enjoy a clear view everytime you look into the distance through this crystal clear Perger Porro prism system, with its advanced flouride glass lenses. Water- and dirt-repellent AquaDura lens coatings and HDC® multi-layer lens coatings ensure high light transmission and neutral color rendition for a bright, high contrast view with great depth. The HD-B's Advanced Ballistic Compensation technology gives you the equivalent horizontal distance, point of aim correction, and recommended reticle adjustment (in clicks) based on the caliber and ammunition being used. In addition to shot angle, this high performance technology also takes temperature and barometric pressure into account to formulate adjustments. A bright, easy-to-read LED display with automatic brightness adjustment makes it easy to read the rangefinder's results. Rangefinder also accepts a microSD card (included) to upload ballistic curves and data for custom loads. Runs on 1 CR2 3V battery (included). Leica Geovid HD-B Rangefinding Binoculars 5 5 1 1
Awesome piece of kit I purchased these binoculars for use when shooting precision rifle - the optical quality of the Leica is the best I have ever seen, and the convenience of having the rangefinder built into the field glasses is well worth the rather significant cost. These are very solid, well-build binoculars, and the quality cannot be overstated. People with good quality glass from other manufacturers are amazed when they look through these. The colour rendition is amazing, and the details that can be picked out in low light and at very long range make these a must have for anyone shooting a .338 Lapua the way it was meant to be shot. They come with a nice neck strap with a wide, padded portion which is very comfortable, and a decent padded carry case. I take very good care of mine, and they have not been handled roughly, but I suspect they could take a good deal of being knocked about before there would be any signs of wear. I am delighted with these and if I ever lost them, I would be buying another pair the same day. They are my go-to binoculars for everything from hunting to sports to work. November 6, 2014
