Sure beats a laddle Great melter for the money. Make sure you have pure lead or the spout gets jammed, but not a problem just take a paper clip and unclog it. I pour everything from 10 oz. sinkers to 1/8 oz. jig heads and it will do it all. January 3, 2011
Saves alot of money Melting pots save you more money than you realize. it gets you sinkers and jig heads for free. when i go catfishing i always youse no roll sinkers and the are very expensive and with the melting pot you can get them for free and save mass money it is an important tool for people who fish on the bottom or use jigs alot . buy one youll love it i promise June 30, 2008
What a differance the Price was what attracted me to this . for 6 months I was casting with a ladle and pot over open flame very slow and lead cools quickly this is a lot better than that method . I have heard a lot about the dripping I have not had that problem but my lead is very clean going in to the pot so that might be the issue . I would recommend to any casting bullets or fishing sinkers will make your casting sessions a lot more productive ... March 7, 2014
bad This product is made very poorly. The first thing I noticed when opening the product was no directions on how to put it together or how to use it. The first time I used it it worked great but when I went to use it the 2nd time the spout had hard lead in it and would not melt so I had to use a ladle to pour my sinkers. March 26, 2011

Clearance for sinker molds, The only thing I needed to learn, was you need to tilt the 10 oz bank sinker DO-IT mold to fill it properly.

It will do jig heads. If the mold has a form that sticks out the top there is only enough clearance if you don't use a ingot mold to catch the drips.
