I have already found so many uses for this around the house! Sturdy as can be!

Bought this Leatherman for my daughter as a "throw in the car" type of gift. She has used it for everything short of taking lug nuts off the wheels. Just enough stuff to get you out of the small pickles we all run into. Anything bigger , "call the old man". :)

This is a nice purchase. For the price you can't go wrong. It is really versatile. I use it for everyday stuff. I also use it for when I build things. The knife on this thing is really nice, and all the tools are in really nice.
The only annoying thing about this tool is it doesn't come with a sheath. Bass Pro Shops doesn't sell them. You have to buy them from the Leatherman site. Then you have to pay separate sales tax and they are slightly expensive.
Overall this is a great buy just be prepared to buy a separate sheath.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by GIJOE Just what I was looking for...
This was the multi-tool that I was looking for. It is compact yet has enough features to make one feel fully prepared. I love the frame-locking blade on the outside that can be opened one handed. One modification I made by adding a 550 para chord lanyard tied through the hole beneath the scissors. Most of the time I am using this tool I am either in the floors or ceilings of buildings running wires or in a boat on the water. I like having the lanyard to prevent losing the tool.
The tool is compact enough that I routinely wear it clipped to the inside waist band right behind my right hip-bone. Worn in this way, it is easily accessible as well as out of the way of keys and coins that one might keep in a hip pocket. It is also the only way to keep it on you when wearing flimsy dress pants...something my job often calls for.
I recently took it camping and used it for everything from starting the fire (with a flint fire starter sold separately) to opening the can of beans.
5 stars also for the price. Did not have to break the piggy bank for this one and it is "name brand!"
