I used the pliers to pull some wall plugs. I twisted the plug as I pulled and the pliers snapped. I wasn't using too much force. I thought the tool was very weak (although it looks great). I returned the tool to the store for a cash refund and am not sure about making another purchase of a leatherman.

I was really suprised how sharp the knife was out the box, Its COOL looking and clips right to my life vest. Leatherman backs their tools also so buying another one was a no brainer, just wish it had scissors. Oh well cant have it all or can you?

Rated 5 out of 5Â by BBQBIMBO Amazing multi tool
This Skeletool is the perfect multi tool for me, as a female, to use. It is much lighter than others I have purchased, yet is stonger than other brands. I use my Skeletool for gardening tasks, hanging outdoor decor, indoor projects...well, just everything ! The light weight is user friendly and prevents wrist fatigue. It is also very easy to clean and dry. Congrats to Leatherman for a great product !

Just a note to let you know that the Leatherman Skeletool is one of the best tools/knives I have ever owned. Being a Leatherman user for about 10 years now, I saw the tool last fall in your store. I had a read a previous review in Outside magazine that suggested it. I have been wearing it ever since and feel naked without it. I still keep my Leatherman Wave around, but when I am packing for a hike, the Skeletool always makes the belt. The blade is extremely sharp and the plier jaws are excellent for cracking open nuts on the trail. I also like the caribiner attachment which is strong and secure.
