Take Leatherman’s Charge AL and replace the scissors with an aggressive cutting hook on the back of the serrated blade and you've got the Charge® ALX. The cutting hook simply rips through tough materials like seatbelts, linoleum and leather with no problem. The ergonomic, 6061-T6, heat-treated, alloy aluminum handles house all of the Charge ALX’s quality components.

For handling light stuff such as cutting line, fixing loose screws on reels and such, this tool is good for the job. Heavy-duty work like taking a treble hook out of a pike wrapped up in a net .... get bigger pliers! It's pricey though!
