Turn more bites into hook-ups with the penetrating power of the world’s one and only surgically sharpened hook! Tested and proven by tournament pros—including 2009 Bassmaster Classic® Champion Skeet Reese—these TroKar® Flippin' Hooks consistently pierce a fish’s lip with half the force of any other hook. The secret is in the tailored tempering process, which turns the cold-forged high-carbon steel into a deadly weapon with a computer-sharpened 3-sided hook point and just the right amount of flexibility. The bolstered forged wire diameter adds strength to the shank, and the low-profile barb delivers ultimate holding power. Ringed eye. The Lazer TroKar Flippin' Hooks feature a barbed straight shank and TroKar barb on the shank.

  • 3-sided hook point
  • Surgically sharpened
  • Ultra-clean, cold-forged, high-carbon steel
  • Low-profile barb
  • Bolstered wire diameter
  • Tailored tempering process

Sharpest hook I have found I bought these hooks about a month or two ago just to try them out, and I have been truely impressed. These hooks are very strong and do not see a bass breaking or straightening one. I have used these hooks for flipping and even punching and with the quality of the barb I have not had a problem with my baits coming off. And last the sharpness of these hooks are unmatched it has given me a better hook up ratio and I do not have to strain to set the hook. The only reason I gave it 4 stars are they seem a little steep on the price to me. But if you are looking for a quality hook this is it. October 7, 2010
Strong Hooks! When I fish Trokar, I know I am getting a quality hook but the main thing I am doing when using them is figuring out if there is a difference between Trokar and Gamakatsu. They both are excellent hooks but it is hard for me to see a difference... So, it would be hard for me to justify the extra price but I do believe in their concept and if I know I am going to be fishing when every bite counts, it is nice to have the confidence that you are using the best or atleast one of the best. My Go To Hook As many others have said these hooks are expensive. But as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for." I have used live bait, cut bait, and even worms on these hooks and they hold up great. When I pierce bait with these hooks they go through like butter. Once I hooked a good size branch behind me when I was casting. I broke the branch, the bait was still on, and the hook didn't bend. I have nothing but good things to say about these hooks and I would recommend them to anyone. December 6, 2011
Good hooks but a little pricey These are very good hooks. I bought them in a 4/0 and wish I would had bought the 5/0 or 6/0 instead. I honestly can say that every hook set has been buried in the cheek or roof of its mouth. I'm not too sure if they are any better than some of top brands but they are very strong and sharp hooks that's for sure! Would like to see a slightly bigger barb on them but I haven't lost a fish YET so I guess it's big enough to get the job done. Only gave 4 stars because of the cost. May 5, 2012

Depends on what you are throwing... If you are throwing tubes, I would definitely get the Trokar Tube Hook. My experience with Flippin Hooks on tubes was not good. If your piece of plastic is not too thick, you should have good success on 2/0 or 3/0 with plastic craws, etc
