Lazer TroKar® Flippin' Hooks
Good hooks but a little pricey
These are very good hooks. I bought them in a 4/0 and wish I would had bought the 5/0 or 6/0 instead. I honestly can say that every hook set has been buried in the cheek or roof of its mouth. I'm not too sure if they are any better than some of top brands but they are very strong and sharp hooks that's for sure! Would like to see a slightly bigger barb on them but I haven't lost a fish YET so I guess it's big enough to get the job done. Only gave 4 stars because of the cost.

When I fish Trokar, I know I am getting a quality hook but the main thing I am doing when using them is figuring out if there is a difference between Trokar and Gamakatsu. They both are excellent hooks but it is hard for me to see a difference... So, it would be hard for me to justify the extra price but I do believe in their concept and if I know I am going to be fishing when every bite counts, it is nice to have the confidence that you are using the best or atleast one of the best.

My Go To Hook
As many others have said these hooks are expensive. But as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for." I have used live bait, cut bait, and even worms on these hooks and they hold up great. When I pierce bait with these hooks they go through like butter. Once I hooked a good size branch behind me when I was casting. I broke the branch, the bait was still on, and the hook didn't bend. I have nothing but good things to say about these hooks and I would recommend them to anyone.

These are the best hook I've ever used!
Yes, they are a little pricy, but when money is on the line, do you want to use the bargain basement hook? Even when you're tying your line you have to be mindful that you can EASILY stick yourself. Great to use with braided line!
