Turn more bites into hook-ups with the penetrating power of the world’s one and only surgically sharpened hook! Tested and proven by tournament pros—including 2009 Bassmaster Classic® Champion Skeet Reese—these hooks consistently pierce a fish’s lip with half the force of any other hook. The secret is in the tailored tempering process, which turns the cold-forged high-carbon steel into a deadly weapon with a computer-sharpened 3-sided hook point and just the right amount of flexibility. The bolstered forged wire diameter adds strength to the shank, and the low-profile barb delivers ultimate holding power. Ringed eye.

This, like all the other hooks made by trokar, is very sharp. I haven't missed any fish with it, and the barb on the shank of the hook does exactly what it is supposed to and that is keep the lure in position. This makes my lures last alot longer, which is another good thing about this hook. The only reason why it gets 4 stars is because they bend out of shape on a bigger fish, however this problem is more than likely just the size f the hook, and not the design.

Sharpest hook on market. I actually use the 4/0 finesse worm hook for light flipping duty with a 1/4 oz. sinker. NO PROBLEMS. There is NO bending or straightening out of this hook whatsoever. I'm catching fish in cover with braid on these hooks. The keeper is the best I've ever used. The points are STICKY sharp. haven't lost a fish yet due to ANY problems with the hook. Worth every penny. DO NOT SHY AWAY.

I will never use this hook again. I used this hook for the first time this weekend in a tournament, and lost two nice fish due to the fact that this hook bends. I was using 12 pound P-line, and a small plastic craw. The hook straightend out on the hook set. I lost both fish when they came up to jump. With 12# line and a 6'6" MH St.Croix rod, this hook should not perform so poorly.
