  • Ultra-clean, cold-forged, high-carbon steel
  • Low-profile barb
  • Bolstered wire diameter

Turn more bites into hook-ups with the penetrating power of the world’s one and only surgically sharpened hook! Tested and proven by tournament pros—including 2009 Bassmaster Classic® Champion Skeet Reese—these hooks consistently pierce a fish’s lip with half the force of any other hook. The secret is in the tailored tempering process, which turns the cold-forged high-carbon steel into a deadly weapon with a computer-sharpened 3-sided hook point and just the right amount of flexibility. The bolstered forged wire diameter adds strength to the shank, and the low-profile barb delivers ultimate holding power.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome hook Well I got a pack of these 4/0 wide gap hooks and wow are they awesome! I was Texas rigging 4" craws and creature baits wit them and it worked really well. I had a couple times whee I was in an awkward position to set the hook and didn't get a very good hook-set but the bass were still hooked really well. I've never seen a hook penetrate through a bass's mouth like this one. I've recently gotten some more trokar so I'm excited to try it out. March 31, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Trokar baitpin hooks Excellent hook, strong and super sharp-Hold Senko stile baits better than others--never lost a fish on this hook but the pin turns after hard use-still my favorite October 1, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not worth the money A very expensive hook that doesn't seem to be as sharp as a lot of other hooks on the market. Its very thick and then has a chisel point, but after a 4 or 5 fish its doesn't seem quite as sharp and I missed 3 or 4 fish until I switched out for a new hook. The point that holds the worm up and into place is a good idea it just doesn't function very well because it just rips a bigger hole in the worm. April 25, 2012
