like skeet reese says what I thought was good isnt any more , I only wish I would have tried them sooner, they may cost a little more but well worth it.

Maybe I got a defective pack of these hooks or something, but my experience with them has been anything but steller. The few bass that I have landed with these looked like they had been shot in the mouth with an arrow with a broadhead. The flukes that I was using(and Magnum trick worms) also took damage as well where the hook penetrated.(from the hook itself, not from a fish) IMO stick to Mustad ultra point, Gamakatsu, or Bass Pro XPS superlock hooks.

These hooks are the sharpest that I have ever used. I was looking for a brand of hook that was American made and could not find a quality hook that was. The Trokar hooks are not only American made but also the best quality hooks on the market.

This hook will hook more bass for you than any other hook! So if you don't want to miss any bites, then yes it is worth the money. I don't get a ton of bites everytime I go fishing, so when I do, I want to hook the fish. Almost never miss with this hook, even when I'm slow on the hook set, or don't get a hook set as strong as I like. Very worth it to me.A:Â
I use both,but I prefer Trokar,a lot lesslost fish,plus I have had bass break the
light wire Gamagatsu 3|0 hooks.

i felt the same way. i first went to owner hooks and was way more successful then when i used Gamakatsu. i recently switched to trokar and am very pleased with the performance.. buy them and see if you like them. if you dont, go back to gamakatsuA:Â
i also use gamakatsus and tried trokar . will not come unbuttoned. great hook just expensive.A:Â
you won't be disappointed ... I flip with them in heavy cover and not ever any issues...C3

I would like to know what is the best LaserTrokar hooks for the strike king ocho in the 5 inch and 7 ich sizes.I am wanting to try these hooks to see if they would good for my ocho's.Its just about all I fish with.I sometimes throw a rattlebait tho.Any help would be great.Just let you guys know I have a 2009 Abu Garcia revo premier reel on a 7 foot medium Moderate Fast Taper Vendetta rod that use for ocho's.I also use my spinning reel and a quantum tour edition pt drop shot rod for this as well.It a medium fast taper 7ft rod.Answers

A 5/0 worm or mag worm depending on your desired fall rate. the mags are a little heavier so the are faster sinking. i like the regular worm ewg trokars.A:Â
Kdog1,Althought I don't use Trokar hooks for this purpose, I took Derek Yamamotos advise many years ago. When the Senko was originally devised, a 3/0 offset shank ewg hook was sold to complement the bait. I've stuck with that because it's been successful.
