Turn more bites into hook-ups with the penetrating power of the world’s one and only surgically sharpened hook! Tested and proven by tournament pros—including 2009 Bassmaster Classic® Champion Skeet Reese—these TroKar® EWG Non-Offset Worm Hooks consistently pierce a fish’s lip with half the force of any other hook. The secret is in the tailored tempering process, which turns the cold-forged high-carbon steel into a deadly weapon with a computer-sharpened 3-sided hook point and just the right amount of flexibility. The bolstered forged wire diameter adds strength to the shank, and the low-profile barb delivers ultimate holding power. Ringed eye.

  • 3-sided hook point
  • Surgically sharpened
  • Ultra-clean, cold-forged, high-carbon steel
  • Low-profile barb
  • Bolstered wire diameter

Very Sharp, Point Bends Easily, Bad These hooks are extremely sharp out of the package. I was very please with them at first, but after about 5-10 solid hooksets they began to dull and even some of them bent at the tip making them useless. Using senkos only. I lost some good fish recently because I didnt notice untill further examining them. These are the worst hooks I have ever used. Absolutely horrible for the cost. They are not worth the $10 cost. Save your money buy gamakatsu. Ive never had a hook bend or dull so quickly. Very poor hooks with all this hype. I will never buy these again. July 13, 2010
BUY THIS HOOK I don't use anything else. I use to use Gamakatsu and other brands, but Trokar is the best. Yes, they are more expensive. But believe me when I say its worth every penny. I don't have to worry about getting the perfect hook set, I can do a bad hook set and still hook the fish extremely well. This hook is so super sharp, you've gotta get it! 4/0 works for almost everything, 5/0 is of course another great option January 27, 2014
Sharp I bought a pack of these hooks because they were the bees knees.. These hooks are seriously sharp, however the only draw-back i noticed was the tip cant last through rocks. These hooks are not cheap, so if your fishing rock ledges or any type of rocks, dont throw your trokar in them.. Save them and put on a gamakatsu. These hooks are outstanding in every other aspect though. June 17, 2010
Best of the Best Unreal point on these hooks, the 3 sided point makes for a very impressive factor. $10 is a good deal, put these hooks on good line and they should last a season or more. No surprise that many sizes are already on backorder. 2/0 is the size I purchased for t-rigged Chigger Craw fishing. A excellent match and a great product by Eagle Claw. Looking forward to fishing these! January 6, 2010

I've started using these hooks exclusively. I like the way they perform. I've stopped using Tru-turn and Gamakatsus (which I used for many years) since finding these hooks. Give them a try...you won't be disappointed.

This hook will hook more bass for you than any other hook! So if you don't want to miss any bites, then yes it is worth the money. I don't get a ton of bites everytime I go fishing, so when I do, I want to hook the fish. Almost never miss with this hook, even when I'm slow on the hook set, or don't get a hook set as strong as I like. Very worth it to me.

For those size baits I would use the 2/0 hook.

Kdog1,
Althought I don't use Trokar hooks for this purpose, I took Derek Yamamotos advise many years ago. When the Senko was originally devised, a 3/0 offset shank ewg hook was sold to complement the bait. I've stuck with that because it's been successful.
