Lazer TroKar® 30 Degree Swimbait Hooks with Spring Bait-Keeper
Great Tube Hook!
I found a great use for these hooks and it is the answer to all of the hook setting issues people have with texas rigged tube baits. They all make "tube" hooks but I promise you that you won't be able to get good hook sets if the point of the hook is level with the eye/pointing directly at the eye. No matter how wide the gap of the hook is a thick flipping tube won't fold up enough to ensure a high percentage of hook ups. I modified the twist lock keeper so that it keeps the tube and hook centered and balanced. (you'll have to figure that part out) This works great for internal tube weights since the hook will now be outside of the tube up front instead of buried in the head. If you want a bullet weight out front then this bait won't be quite as stream lined as you would like, but I think it looks worse to a fishermans eye than it does to a bass. They don't care that the weight is a quarter of an inch from the bait instead of right up against it. I used this a lot this spring already and if a fish hits it they are hooked very easily. If you use a bullet weight out front you will notice that it will catch grass from time to time since it's not perfectly stream lined. I always say it doesn't really matter how good a bait looks or works if you can't get em in the boat. I will pull some grass off of this thing from time to time knowing that if a bass even touches this thing he will be in the boat!

Great bass hook
Love the size and strength of the hook. Definitely increased my hook set ratio. I use the hook for senko fishing so if I had a complaint it would be that the hook tears them up pretty quick.

very sharp hooks
used this hook on a berkley pit boss.they seem to penetrate very easy by just a little lift and reeling in with the weight of the fish.are they worth the money? I would say yes they are.the gauge of the wire is pretty thick and cut into the fish very easy.I have always been a gammy fan but things may change now.
