LaCrosse went to the experts on ''tough'' when creating the Highwall, bringing in a team of veteran miners to help design a boot that can handle anything. Combining a triple-stitched 2mm waterproof, full grain leather upper with a GORE-TEX lining, this boot delivers 100% breathable waterproof protection that can handle brutal treatment. 1000g Thinsulate™ Ultra insulation keeps your feet comfortable even on bitter cold work days. A protective Vibram pyramid rubber rand over the heel and forefoot provides abrasion- and chemical-resistance, while the boot's non-metallic safety toe, Flex-Shield II puncture-resistant polyurethane midsole, and floating MetFlex metatarsal guard protection combine to meet or exceed ASTM F 2413-05 M 1/75 C/75 MT/75 EH PR safety standards. Finally, the Highwall also features electrical hazard protection that meets CSA Z195-02,Grade 1, Electric-Shock Resistant standards. Under your foot, the Highwall delivers great support and stability with its stitchdown construction, fiberglass shank, Flex-Shield midsole, and removable footbed.
