This pair of boots are one of the better pairs of boots that you can buy. I purchased these boots back in 2006 and the sole finally gave out of them. I have owned a pair of the Rocky boots, and also have two pairs of the ScentBlocker boots and these were by far my favorite. They are extremely comfortable and lightweight which made walking through tough ground cover easier than the above mentioned boots. I wear a size 10.5 shoe and boot, but these run a little big and ended up buying the 10. However, if you can hold off on purchasing these, buy them during the annual Bass Pro Fall Hunting Classic in August-September when they are marked down to $79. Also, don't anticipate these providing any warmth whatsoever. If the temperature falls below freezing and you are sitting in a deer stand, expect your feet to get cold. But, the foot warmer packs work great to combat that problem.

Great comfortable and waterproof boot. They have a 'rubber' smell to them tho. Buy a size larger than you wear.

This is my third pair of Lacrosse rubber boots. I get five or six years of hard hunting out of each pair.
These are my first AlphaBurlys and they are nice.
I literally took these out of the box and went on a weekend hunting trip. They go on easily thanks to neoprene and the back gussett and they were comfortable right from the start.
I would say these are best for milder cold, maybe 30's not much colder than that.
One negative is they Really run small. I wear an 8 shoe and usually get a nine boot but I was warned these run small so I got a ten. Glad I did. I can wear a medium weight wool sock but that is all. I have some thick heavy duty socks and the boot is too tight when I wear them.

I was so pleased with the comfort and fit when I stepped into the left boot for the first time the word just came out; "Perfect".
Wore these during early season in both Minnesota and Iowa. Easy on-off... even after a long haul. Not a near-freezing or below boot. You may be able to wick moisture with proper sock combination, but I would not recommend for mid-30's or below.
Very comfortable in the stand and mud clears very well from those river and stream crossings. I like'm!
