Rated 1 out of 5 by sick No more LaCrosse
I'll never buy another LaCrosse product. I bought 2 pair of these. One for myself and the other for my son. We used them for 2 turkey seasons and one deer season and the soles peeled off. I had also tried a pair od LaCrosse "waterproof" snake boots and they began to leak within 2 weeks. LaCrosse needs to do a better job of quality control.

This boot is very comfortable and light weight. If you like to run and gun for turkey's or stalk for deer this is a good boot for you. They do tend to not be quite as tough as I would like though. I have patched several holes before not long after they came out of the box. Overall best boot for the money if you hunt places that stay about 20 F or higher in the winter.

cant make up my mind between alpha sst or alpha sport i like to do duck goose deer hunting im 51 & my feet always get cold then the game is over i have to leave hunting if any one can help please do god bless thank you
If you are looking for warmth, the Sports don't provide it whatsoever. Buy the insulated boots and you will be pleased with your choice. Also, the battery heated socks can help with cold feet too. Happy hunting and God Speed
When it comes to shopping for a new pair of boots, how would I know if 3.5 mm of neoprene will be as warm as the 1000 gram thinsulate boots I own now. In other words, how many grams of thinsulate would a 3.5mm neoprene be equal to?
