It records hi and low OUTDOOR Temps only. Not an indoor thermometer

Per the manufacturer:This station will show the minimum and maximum temperatures (with time stamp) from setup, until you reset the min/max temperatures or remove the batteries from the station. If you wish a 24-hour min/max reading, reset the min/max temperatures at the same time each day.
The Min/Max Indoor and Outdoor temperatures are constantly displayed below the Indoor or Outdoor temperature. These records will remain until you “Reset” the value.
RESET: In normal display mode, press and hold the+ (PLUS) button to reset the MIN/MAX records for Indoor and Outdoor temperature to current value.
NOTE: Min/Max resolution (smallest value recorded) is 1 degree. Therefore you may see a temperature of 72.5 degrees with a minimum value of 68 and a maximum value of 77. When you press and hold the + (PLUS) button to reset the min/max value, the minimum value will likely be 72 degrees and the maximum value will be 73 degrees.
NOTE: This unit reads Fahrenheit only.
