A hard swimbait that offers almost as enticing movement as a soft plastic swimbait, the LIVETARGET® Blueback Herring’s segmented body helps this dead-on baitfish imitation produce some serious swagger. Along with the realistic markings, scale patterns, gill plates and eyes, walleye, bass, pike and musky will be seduced by the LIVETARGET® Blueback Herring’s triple segmented body which makes it mimic a fleeing herring with the same hard wiggling, swimming and vibrating action. Plus, with a strategic internal weight transfer system, the LIVETARGET® Blueback Herring casts like a bullet so you can cover loads of water. Outfitted with premium Daiichi hooks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jmdog Big fish bait
I don't see fast action while using it but the fish I stick are pigs. I bust it out on trophy lakes when I'm specifically targeting size. Muskies, bass, and pike will all hammer this lure. I would probably only use the slow sinking model for < 4 feet. Anything deeper go for the fast sinker.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Fish2DMax SK not suited for deep water
This item has not performed as expected for me. If you are fishing water deeper than 3 feet you'd better steer away from the slow sink model (SK). I've thrown it all over Lake Sidney Lanier in Georgia during the past 2 months without even getting hit. I switch to a topwater (Spook, Chug Bug or Pop-N-Image) or a small crank instead and they'll react right away. I'm disappointed in the performance of such a good looking lure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by pilotfish Bass fishing at Kerr Lake NC
Used this bait at Kerr Lake yesterday with my son. We tried alot of other baits all morning but had no luck. Then I tried the koppers livetarget 3.5 inch slow sinking in silverblue. We caught 5 bass one after another in a small pool we had already fished with crank baits to no luck. I am amazed at the lifelike action, and I had one bass at 21 inches hit the bait right at the boat, up close and personal. This morning I ordered 3 more one in the fast sinking mode...a little pricy but worth it, try one and you'll be ordering more.

This swinbait is freakin awsome! Incredible swimming action and amazing paint finish. Definatly a great lure when fish are spawning shallow. Bye the way, the first time i casted this lure, i caught a 6 pounder spawning!
