I've got the Metallic version of this Pumpkinseed crank. There are some days where this lure is all they'll bite, and I catch a ton of bass with it on those days. I love fishing it, especially when they are hitting it. Easy to fish and casts well. Floats up slowly, and runs fairly shallow, so it works well around shallow weedlines and weed beds - very common where I fish. Great lure. Get one. I like the pumpkinseed Kopper's better than the other Kopper's square bill crank "Bluegill" versions, and those seem to work well for me too. This version is my best producer, and has become one of my 'go to' hard baits...

I bought one of these in the metallic finish bluegill color and it looks and swims great. For some reason, even though this bait looks so real, I still get more biteson the rapala DT series baits and strike king baits than these. It's a great bait and if you can get confidence built up in it I'm sure it would work great, but until I see better results I'm gona stick with the other baits. Plus the fact that I can buy 2 of the strike king baits for the price of one of these.
