This is a great lure i caught a huge 4 pounder right of my dock with it. unfortunately a 30 pound snapping turtle got a hold of it when i was reeling it in through the weeds and resulted in the hook to brake off. :(

I tried this bad boy last weekend and it’s great. I had no problem with it. It does sit a little low in the back when you stop it but that’s fine. I had no problem with it hanging up on much of anything. I hit one of my biggest bass this year. The thing about the mouse that works. Bass see a mouse as much more vulnerable in the water then a frog. Since frogs live in the water then know where the predators are and aren’t likely to just go out in the pads or off cover. Now the mouse you can work slowly and they will just kill it. I have had a lot of luck with this lure and it holding up just fine.

Dont waist your money! This lure is as weedless and if you were throwing a plain treble hook. I did everything right. i used the recommended pole and line and still couldnt get it to work. While pulling the rat across the top of weeds, it would constantly roll and hook the weeds and get hung up. Then, while trying to delicately remove the weeds, the tail and legs pulled out. i used this a total of 1 hour before threw it away. This lure is not worth the rediculous $17. PLEASE dont waste your money.
