This is a gem of a product. It works great!! The blades are razor sharp and cut down through the meat easily, but you are protected by the safety guard. This is important as I usually cut myself on anything sharp. LOL. The meat is alot more tender than anything I was able to acheive with anything else I have purchased. Its very nice not to have the splatter associated with using a tenderizer hammer. Clean up is a breeze- I just rinse and then throw it in the dishwasher- Done!

This was recommended by friends. It's sturdy, easy to clean and brings the marinating to another level! A bit pricey but pretty well-built.

I have been shopping for a meat tenderizer for quite some time, but many of the ones I found available on the market just were not the stable gadget I was looking for. The Jaccard meat tenderizer appears to be a solid, well made gadget. It fits well in my hand, and delivers a firm piercing motion with each push. So far it is working exactly as I expected, and I am a satisfied customer in finally getting a quality tenderizer at a decent price.
