Very good scale, just like other Lem products. Works great weighing venison and pork, to see how much is needed, to make sausage. Weighs very close to the ounce.

Like all LEM products, it is very high quality. Not just homeowner quality but commercial quality. Completely stainless steel except the clear plastic dial face. Easy to keep clean. 44# capacity is more than enough; if you need more, you probably need some kind of floor model scale. The weighing platform is flat, so you can set any manner of meat lug on top. And here's my main gripe about this product. The tare adjusting knurrled knob is right under the center of this platform. You'll have a dickens of a time adjusting it if you have ham hock sized hands, or if they are greasy. It's not impossible, just not as user friendly as I would have liked. Bass Pro price and shipping cost is much better than LEM itself.
I gave 5 stars cause accuracy is spot on from min to max capacity. Isn't that the main concern when buying a scale? Also, it takes up little table space; it really is quite compact. I recommend.
