For the price this scale is a must. Takes the guess work out of the weight of ground meat or making sauage during the grinding process.

This scale is perfect for weighing meat. It is well built and very professional. I also own the LEM Meat grinder and am very happy with all LEM products that I have purchased.

I would not recommend this scale for weighing live fish because they would flop off the scale.

Personal I have not used this type of scale to measure live fish. I would think they would flop out of the scale while trying to get an accurate measurement. Yes chrome tray can be removed-Even says to use butcher paper to place on top.A:Â
Yes. I have wash mine by hand and placed it in the dishwasher. Comes out looking good every time
