  • Takes lures down without the use of heavy sinkers
  • Returns to the surface when fish is hooked
  • Works with any kind of line, wire or mono

A Drone Planer will put your lure down deep without the use of huge sinkers. In the trolling position, the lure goes down at a 45° angle. When a fish is hooked, the planer returns to the surface, allowing you to fight the fish without the extra burden of a line loaded with lead. Designed to work with any kind of line, wire or mono, and the smaller the diameter of the line the deeper the planer goes.

Rated 2.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by great diver The design is very good at getting the cut herring down where the fish were marked at about 40 ft. Greatly out performed the various plastic divers we were using on silver salmon. I just ordered 2 more. One drawback is the need to watch for burrs and sharp edges which will need to be removed with a stone or crocus cloth. July 16, 2007
Rated 2 out of 5 by LB Huntington Drone Planer the design is effective the finish is very poor, you need to clean up all the sharp areas. It does work well but needs to be finnished beter November 10, 2006
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Finish Although the design is effective the finish is very poor, i had to file off all the sharp edges from the "Blown" welds, if caught on the mainline would cut it for sure. August 19, 2006
