Rated 5 out of 5 by CRDP84 Worth Every Penny These boots are excellent. Light, comfortable, and the BOA System makes getting the boots on and off a breeze. The Omni Trax soles are great. No complaints. Run pretty true to size. October 18, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bugdrifter Excellent boot This is my second pair of korkers with the interchangeable sole. Really like the new style with no tool changes. The BOA system makes it quick and easy to get on and off. Love the boot. March 19, 2012

Details:I purchased a pair of korker boots and I like them fine but have to have a small screw driver to unlock the snap-in soles. Korker advertises easy changing of the soles while fishing or even standing. I dont see how this is possible unless I'm missing something. I hope you can help. Thanks
A:Do you have the most recent version of their sole system? The old one used a tool to change soles, but the new one is super easy. Once you remove the back heel strap from the notch at the back of the boot, you should be able to just pop them off the base of the boot. It takes a little muscle to disengage the teeth that snap into the base, but a screwdriver shouldn't be necessary.
Give Korkers a call if you have any issues. They've been very helpful to me.
A:you must own a pair of the older Korkers boots. the new 3.0 interchange system on the new boots is great. no need for any tools and are super easy to change. you dont even have to take off your boots if you have decent balance. the new soles also cover the whole bottom, edge to edge so the traction and stability is increased by a large margin. the new Korkers are awesome.
