I just finished installing this on my 2010 Ranger. It was easy to install but you really need two people. I wanted it to keep the sunlight off my seat and to protect against tree branches on the trail. It seems to do a good job of both. I haven't used it in the rain yet but I doubt it will be water tight due to the three-piece design.
