Used this call today and had great results, i would recommend this product to anyone. I dont see why the bad reviews, i guess the few that had bad experiences got a faulty item, it can happen with anything from time to time... My experience was good.

For the money you pay for this call it preforms very well. I don't think I will ever use the chatter call because the squirrel at my place don't seem to chatter, and when I went out and used it the squirrels didn't look up or stop what they were doing. But when I used the alarm call all the squirrel in the county looked my way because the call is so dad gum loud. Once they realized that that call ment to run they were gone. So then I tried out the juvenile distress call. While I was calling I cut a sapling branch and beat the other saplings that were around me(this is to make a disturbance like a hawk trying to catch a baby squirrel). In a minute I had a squirrel siting their staring at me I looked to my left and their was another on by the end of 5 minutes, I needed a semi-auto 12ga to hold five shots instead of a pellet gun. The great thing was that no matter how much I moved the squirrels never moved. The only bad thing about this call is that the alarm call doesn't sound as deep as a normal squirrel, its kind of squeaky. Still works great no complaints.

I used this call only twice before the reed broke off and the trash heap was the only place it belonged.
