I purchased one and tried it a couple of times. It sounds great. I just haven't had any luck ratteling.

great little rattle bag, small enough to fit in your pocket, and produces a realistic sound. after a while my bag started to get small tears in it, but nothing to worry about. great value for money.

Ruttin' and Rattlin'
This bag as a real good product. I have called in a few deer with this bag but not as many as I wanted to. My uncle called in a nice buck for my cousin on Junior Hunt Day and more deer through the season than I have. Next year I am not going to be as aggressive because when I rattle, I have the grunt tube in my mouth and I am banging on trees and the ground and trying to rattle as hard as I can. It probably sounds more like Godzilla fighting one of those monsters than a buck fight. But if you use this the right way, you will have success.

I do not know if that is what is intended. but when I use it, I do not have the elastic strap around it. I use the elastic strap to keep it quiet when transporting it, or so I do not make any unwanted sounds while in stand, like when reaching for gun/bow.
