This call is good if you need a yelp to be heard far off. Or on windy days, as it is very loud. I could not get a realistic gobble from it, and that was the main reason for my purchase. And after an hour of trying to (tune) it, the latex tore. I tossed it in the trash. My ole push pull gobbler works just fine. Of all the things to worry about opening day, my calls should not be one of them!

Like any call, takes a little practice and has realistic sounds. Needs extra reeds and reed band that would elliminate later frustrations, but all in all is a good call.

recommend trying this one. loud and with a bit of practice produces great yelps. works in the rain and is louder than any slat call on windy days.
