I used this call to kill a gobbler in Pa. on May 1 of our spring season. The call is easy to run , with a semi raspy tone. It gives the perfect hollow tone to a yelp and reproduces the cluck , purr and cutt sounds very effectively.

I have tried them all. Knight & Hale have it down pat when it comes to mouth calls. This Preacher is quite possible the easiest and best sounding mouth diaphragm I have ever used. Called in 3 big toms last Spring with this and one already this year. Time to stock up on more of these.

Great call. probably one of the best i've ever used. If you like a real raspy/ old boss hen call, this is the one. Very easy to call with. I will be buying a hand full more to save for future seasons. cause usually when i find a call i like come the next season i can never find them.
