Recently purchased it and love it. It's small, compact, easy to use and stick in your bag, and sounds great. I actually passed on it for the $20, but I walked by a diplay for it and an EZ grunt for the same price and couldn't resist. After trying it out It'd have been worth the $20.

It sounds great but I havn't had much luck with it. I really feel it will produce well. Just have to use it at the right time I guess.

Of all of these types of simulation devices, i. e., "raddle bags" (Dowels in a small sack), various plastic boards (sort of like an old fashioned "wash baoard) that drag a dowel across and others,; the Knight and Hale Magnum Rattling System is the only one that I feel, actually sounds like two big bucks really going at it---opening day of muzzle loader season was last Saturday: I used the system in combination with a grunt call upon setting up in my stand; I saw 13 bucks, three of the bucks with spreads over 18 inches, between 7:03 am and 11:08 AM; I also saw saw 10 does; however, the first deer to come were four yearling 6 pointers followed by an 18 inch spread, 8 pointer. I am not leaving home without this rattling system at this phase of the rut and no I am not telling anyone where my stand is but I have great photos of the morning's hunt!

How does theK&H pack rack magnum rattling system compare to the K&H pack rack regular rattling system?

I actually prefer the smaller version; I think the Magnum system was a marketing scheme; The original version sounds very realistic!
