Knight & Hale Heckl'n Howler Coyote Call
This call was given to me with no instructions of any kind. Quite honestly I thought it was a duck call at first. The person who gave it to me said it was for coyotes but after playing with it for several minutes I couldn't make anything remotely coyote come out of it. I watched some videos on YouTube and tried mimicking but still no dice. It wasn't until I covered the end with a shirt to try and mute it that it actually howled. I play the trumpet and have a good pair of lungs but it took alot for me to make it howl.
This product could be touchy and the previous owner abused it a bit, I don't know, but overall I like it and I will be taking this out next time I'm in the country.

Works well after practicing...
I've had this call for about 4 months and I'll admit it was frustrating to get it working right. After a few hours of experimenting, I got what I thought was a good, realistic coyote call. It will bark, yip and howl with the best of them. Now when I'm out I can respond to the coyotes' as well as get them interested in my position for my bow or crossbow shot.

I have never tried a bark or yip call, however this did not sound like no coyote bark, yip or a howl I have ever heard before. Sounds like a difunctional deer call. Very disappointed in the product. Have several electric calls and the sound is night and day difference from this. I worked with it for a good amount of time and at no time was I thinking ya that sounded a little like it should. Sorry, not recommending this.
