I bought this call as soon as i got home there were deer in the yard.I got my call out the deer went crazy!I used this call i got within 10 yards of a very nice six pointer buck!I was not even wearing camo i was wearing a grey tee shirt and blue jeans.Great product will use more great beginner call!

I used this call on my property just giving it a chance, just like the other guy said a few bucks what the heck, well it was a wast of money, the sound isn't even realistic to me, and by the reaction of the deer around my property it wasn't real to them either..

I have to strongly disagree with the prior review. This call is awesome. This call isn't for creating loud big buck grunt calls. This call is made to create soft grunt calls. Yes, you can move the reed to very the tone. I have called in bucks and does the final steps to get them in bow range. It doesn't get in the way and is a great way to finesse curious deer into range. Here is my proof, I had a doe come by at 30 yards. I shot low and missed. The doe ran off another 30 yards and stopped. I then used the soft grunter. She immediatly turned and walked right back into bow range! Sad thing I missed again! She ran off and stopped. Again, I soft grunted and she came back!! All within sight and about 10 minutes. It was getting too dark now for an ethical shot, so I passed. That was my first time using this call. Since that time, I have been able to pull several deer in. It won't work everytime pending on the deers mood, but neither does any other deer call. It's been effective for me early, mid and late season. Great all around call. It works, trust me!

I would not ever use this product again. I bought it thinking what the heck its only $5 . I shoulve saved the $5. It does not create realistic sounds, the reed actually moves over use. one minute you have a semi deep grunt then you have a duck. I have not had any success with this call at all and will not even bother to carry this with me any more.
