Rated 4 out of 5 by Don't agree with other review I own 5 45acp's & 3 are 1911's. I use this one as my carry. It does have a long break-in but I never had a problem with Wilson combat mags that's all I use. I did polish the feed ramp but I use the same mags in all my 1911s. I would not recommend shooting a lot of +P ammo stay with 230 grain FMJ. The break in is the biggest thing with jams & polishing the ramp does help. If you get this gun NIB and have no jams without breaking it in, then your real lucky. May 15, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent Shooter Have had this model for about a year now. Took almost 1000 rounds to break it in vs the manuals claim of 500-800 rounds. Once I hit 1000 rounds haven't had one problem with it. I use it in the monthly local club matches. It's deadly accurate out of the box. The only problem I have with it is it only works with Kimber magazines. Won't function with Shooting Star or Wilson mags. I have an Ultra Carry that works with any mags that I have without a problem, so it's just this pistol. Otherwise keep it lightly lubed and works fine. April 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Almost Perfect This is a great gun. It's super accurate. It's the most accurate handgun I've ever shot. I use this as my concealed gun and it works great, but I have to admit it's just a tad larger than I would like for a concealed gun. Overall amazing weapon and I would definitely recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 by My favorite pistol I have truly enjoyed this pistol. I have never had 1 jam or issue with this gun. Excellent recoil suppression system makes it kick no more than a +P 9mm. Smooth trigger and very accurate. Just remember only use quality standard pressure .45 ammo and you're good to go. January 8, 2013
