Kick's High Flyer Choke Tubes
Get on target with Kick's High Flyer diagonally ported choke tubes. Every waterfowl, quail, dove, rabbit, and pheasant hunter should have the Kick's High Flyer. Computer-assisted manufacturing at its finest: gas vents through precision-cut diagonal slots, creating an ideal braking system to reduce felt recoil by 25% and increase pattern performance by 20%, and they perform with lead or steel equally well.
Designed for steel shot, but equally useful for upland game, High Flyer improves patterns and reduces muzzle jump for denser, faster, and more accurate follow-up shots. Conical, parallel design reduces flyers; installs easily without a wrench (a final tightening with a choke tube wrench is recommended to prevent the choke tube from loosening while shooting). Matte black finish.

Having just completed the opening weekend here in New Zealand the Kicks choke in modified attached to an SBE2 12g firing 2 3/4 inch #3 steel was devastating. My shooting mates and I shot a small back water on a large South Island river. The shooting was expected to be close as the birds had no where to go once they committed to dropping below the tree line so I began the morning with a factory cylinder choke. About an hour into the shoot I decided to change to the Kicks Mod as we were getting a range of distances some as close as 3 meters (from end of barrel) out to 40 meters (leaving shots). The close range shots 3-15 meters (prodominatly cupped) were without lead on the head and the shots 15-40 meters were minimal lead. I found myself building in confidence as the shoot developed with crisp one shot kills and minimal wounded birds picking up my daily mallard limit of 50 before the day was out. The recoil seemed less which allowed quick target accusition for follow up shots or frantic mob shooting. Given the close shooting I wont be changing the choke part way through a shoot, for example aftrenoon into a night shoot with limited light and close range. I highly recomend this choke and believe the Mod covers all shooting out to 40 meters plus.

The choke was well designed, but description could have been clearer. This was designed for steel so the modified for Invector Plus is .732 which is equivalent to improved cylinder for lead. An Invector Plus for lead in modified is .722.

Picked up a pair of modified chokes for my over/under. They work well and look great. They seem to fit the bill of reducing recoil by a bit and pattern was very consistent and tight. It's a local Georgia company was the main reason for choosing these over Patternmasters. Only two things I noticed were if running multiple rounds through make sure you keep them tightened, and in a over/under build up occurs ever so slightly between the two chokes but easy to clean with some solvent. Pick up a pair and enjoy!
