Keen Newport Leather Hiking Sandals for Men - Bison Brown
Best sandal ever
Keen makes sandals that can take whatever you throw at them. I ordered my first pair while I was working in Baghdad and now wear them both wade fishing and occasionaly to church here in Florida. From 140 degrees on the ground in the desert to salt marshes to outdoor Sunday services this sandal has served me well. I bought the kids version of these for my son and together we've used these sandals for fishing, church, out on the town in Orlando and in Las Vegas, beach shoes, and pool shoes.
Nothing beats a pair of Keens.

Rugged, comfortable, durable sandals
I purchased these Keens two years ago and have put them through the paces. Hiking, playing with kids, tons of water activities, yard work, camping, etc.
They are my go to pair of shoes on evenings and weekends.
Two years in, they are as solid as the day I bought them. If they ever wear out, I'll order another pair the next day.
I've bought Keens for all my kids and for my wife based on this...we are big fans!

Very nice multi-purpose shoe.
I have had my Newports for two years and have worm them constantly. I use them from everything from fishing, hiking, and to wear around town. I love the toe bumpers while in a boat as it allows for the protection of a tennis show with the breathability and comfort of a sandal. Like other reviews mention, if you buy online it might be wise to try them on first. A proper fit is a must for experiencing the full potential of this shoe.
The only reason these shoes got four stars is for the minor fact that while walking, on occasion I have got small pebbles inside the shoe and in order to remove them the shoe itself must be removed. Still, it is not a big deal but be aware that it will sometimes happen. Happy treading.

My fave shoe, bar none
I've had my first pair since summer of '05. A buddy recommended them while on a fishing trip to BC. Thought they looked kinda goofy, but most really comfortable shoes have their "quirks". It's almost 3 years later, and I wear them every time I can. Only snow and the necessity for dress shoes keeps 'em off my feet. My wife got me a new pair, but I'm trying to see if I can just drive these into the ground. The only evidence of wear is the soles, and they aren't that worn. I've had hiking boots that weren't this durable, and not nearly as comfy!!!
