I use this cooler as a general use cooler on my SOT kayak... really like that the straps can be attached to the back of my kayak chair so that it sits vertically which takes virtually zero deck space. The removable bag is great for storing sandwiches, energy bars, etc., which keeps them dry from the ice and drinks which can be placed in the bottom of the cooler. A bag of ice will keep contents cold up to at least 9 hours in direct sun on 100+ degree days. Only negative is that the cooler does sweat condensation after time. Good buy for the money.

I ordered the 24" Kayak cooler only to receive the 20" cooler. In further review the so called cooler measured from th bottom is just under 20" at best. The upper side is 19" at best. Oh what a surprize... the Insert liner is 26". So there you go! You go ahead and stuff a 26 " fish in a 19 inch cooler bag. Sorry sound familiar??

Rated 3 out of 5 by NoCatchFishNoEatFish okay kayak cooler but could be great
i fish southwest florida year round. in the summer which last from march to november or december and occasionally january. the kayak cooler is great because its on the bow of the yak leaving room at the rear for extra rods and equipment. it also doubles as a paddle holder when fighting fish. the only problem i have with this product is the inferior lack of insulation. i use blocks of ice 4'' X 6'' X 12'' and i stuff this thing full of these blocks, and if i catch fish and i do the ice does this magic trick called now you see me now you dont, even if i dont catch fish it will do the same magic trick ,so now you cant say the heat from the fish is melting the ice. like i said its great for the bow and the liner is durable, i have had hundreds and hundreds of fish in it and it still looks new other then the mildew which i dont care about, the darn thing is indestructable and still water tight. if the product had better insulation i would give it 10 stars.
