Rated 4 out of 5 by rmattac Great Find! Best Buy!
Looking for a product for camping that got me off the ground, and was easy to set up. Got the best of both worlds without sacrifice. Downside...center pole on cot limits inter-action with companion...which isn't a bad thing, each get a great comfortable nights sleep! Also takes a alot of space in your vehicle.
On the good side...comfortable, easy set up(complete camp set up including tent, tarp, and gear...ready for campfire in 30 mins. Camped on Thanksgiving weekend in some cold and rainy weather and stayed dry, warm and confident. Had a 1500 BTU Coleman heater under the tent and it kept me warm and dry all weekend.
Great product! Looking forward to winter camping.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RIGID Tent Cot
I enjoy this product but I was aware of the constraints before I purchased it. The constraints are its size in regards to fitting in your vehicle and it is just for sleeping in. It was never designed to go packing with by horse or carrying it yourself. Unlike a tent, it is not for sitting or standing upright in either, but it is easier to set up and take down than a tent. The only thing I do not like and this only applies to the double tent cot is the support bar that runs the length of the cot. The only reason for this that I can think of is due to its extra width it still has to support the additional weight of two people. If it wasn’t there I feel as with any double cot that the material would sag like a hammock and the two people would be unable to get comfortable much less get out easily.

Rated 1 out of 5 by TwiceOnSundays Extremely disapointed
I was very excited to get the double tent cot and was looking forward to using it. After using it a couple times I am sadly very disapointed.
My main 3 complaints:
It's very bulky. This wasn't necessarily a surprise - it is a double cot afterall. But, it does take a lot of space to haul. I could live with bulky were it not for the other two complaints.
It does not have good air circulation - especially with the rain fly on. You have to choose between air circulation and waterproofing - it gets very stuffy in there. The fly has a couple of window-type folds on either side, but it just isn't enough. There needs to be some space between the fly and the tent to let some air through (like a good tent), and there just isn't.
It's not comfotable - there are a couple of pressure points on either end - and they get worse if one person in the cot is heavier than the other. Strictly as a cot, it is the least comfortable cot I've slept on.
The only positive is that it is fairly easy to set up and take down.
It's a really cool idea and concept, but the end result just isn't as great as the idea and I found it to be a poorly ventilated tent with an uncomfortable cot. I regret the purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by flower3 great product
I have not used the product yet, but I have set it up in my backyard. I find it very easy to set up and put down which I really like. I find it to be bigger for transporting places then I thought. I like the idea of the cot and sleeping above the ground.

and is there a way to put a tent fan inside?Answers
A:
I would think a full size mattress. My wife and I layed on it to see how it was for space and although it wouldn't be enough room for restless sleepers we were both comfortable.A:
you can us an air mattress the one I use is an Ascend self inflating it is 30in wide by 72 in long and there still have room at my feetA:
the Bed Size is 84" L x 52" W so you will want to stay in that size for an air mattress. Yes, you should be able to use a small tent fan inside.Answers

Not sure what you mean by "bottom of the floor to the ground", but from the bottom of the cot to the ground is appoximately 21". Plenty of room for bags. I am tall and in a sitting position my feet just touch the ground.Top 250 Contributor

It's not small. That is partly why it is so solid and comfortable. It folds up to about 53x33x7.5".
