I have owned this for just about a year now, I have used it and had time to seriously determine its features and quality. I used to setup a full size tent usually in the dark and hated doing it. I can set this up and be inside ready to relax in about 5 minutes, by myself even! I love my tent cot, I am 6'4" and 230 pounds and I could fit with my wife comfortably inside for a peaceful nights rest.

We use these tents in the barns when we go to cow shows and they work great in cold weather and warm weather. They are surprisingly roomy inside. I've carried them on planes and they are worth the $50.00 charge for oversize luggage. I do recommend a thicker foam pad in frigid weather. They stand up to hard use!

I would think a full size mattress. My wife and I layed on it to see how it was for space and although it wouldn't be enough room for restless sleepers we were both comfortable.

you can us an air mattress the one I use is an Ascend self inflating it is 30in wide by 72 in long and there still have room at my feet

Not sure what you mean by "bottom of the floor to the ground", but from the bottom of the cot to the ground is appoximately 21". Plenty of room for bags. I am tall and in a sitting position my feet just touch the ground.
