Did just what they were supposed to do. Like the wide gap on the hook.. I do a lot of jetty fishing and the lead head let it hit the rocks and still look new. It probably still looks new since it got hung up and I had to break it off. I was using a basspro snap and even though the 30 pound looks small I couldn't break it with 20 pound test.

Great product. Good quality hook. Excellent match for 4-5" swimbait bodies like Berkley swimshad or Big Hammer swimbaits. Round head facilitates better wobble than flat/shad shaped jig heads. I don't find teh extra cost for the painted heads worth the money. I see no impact on my strike ratio when using unpainted vs. painted. Shad body & retrieve factors are much more important.
