Rated 5 out of 5 by great jigs I use Kalin jigs with hand poured swim baits and hollow belly swim baits. 4", 5", and 6" swim baits with 1/2, 3/4, and 1 oz jigs. Glue the bait to the head. cast it out, count it down 1 foot per second or so, real it in somewhat aggressively. Tie a 1 foot leader of Toothy Critter Cortland tieable leader on with double uni knot it you're in Pike country. Bass, Walleye, Pike will hit this lure, and they hit it aggressively. Usually larger fish as well. Editor Doug Stange of In-Fisherman promotes this unusual swim bait method. January 26, 2010
