I started using these about 3 years ago and now use them most of the time when crappie fishing in the spring. They are also deadly for brim. They hold up well and catch fish when nothing else will. Great color pattern. I have purchased several different color patterns of this grub but the wally world works the best.

These grubs stay on the jig head well even after catching a few fish. The tail works excelent plenty of twirling action. Catches lots of crapie.

I rig this personally on a painted jighead about 1/16 oz i believe it is. Caught me a big bass the other day and it's still winter so I was happy, the fish followed it all the way up to the shore-and hit it. Anyways how do you rig it and use it. I would like to know everything line jig rod reel. Nothing about trolling because I don't have boat access so onshore applications Please. Thank you.Images for this Question

I use it the same way, painted jighead 1/16 oz. with barbed collar. When fish are biting a slow moving bait in the river or lake I fish it about 12 to 18 inches below a small plastic bobber about 1/2 to 7/8 inch.

I use ultra-light equipment (wally marshall ultra light spinning 5' 6" rod and reel.) I use 1/32 oz jighead black and chartruse and rig acid rain jig starting with head and insert jig hook 1/2" through center of body and exit with the white side down, yellow side with hook up. works great on about any fish but is excellant for pan fish.A:
For Big Bluegills, try early spring when the water temp. gets up above 65 and the fish are making spawning beds in the gravel areas along shores of lakes and ponds. 2 ways to fish these effectively that I've found: First, try casting and letting them sink to the bottom before starting a slow steady retreive. usually they will hit it on th eway down, or will pick it up off the bottom. Second, in weedy areas, just cast and start a slow retrieve after just a couple seconds. This also works along rocky shorelines for bass & rock bass. I just tie it on to a green, pink or white jig head 1/16th weight. 6lb line. Cast out let it drop, then slow reel it in. That's all I do.

I don't normally hop grubs like everyone else. I swim grubs. With this rig I can swim a grub from just below the surface to 20'+ down.

it is a realtivly uncommon application but yes. well it depends on the creek but i have caught trout on curly tails like this. colors i would suggest are 68, 34, and 84 but try to match it up with your local bait fish. i would sugest using a 1/32 oz jig head tooTight Lines
