Great product. Good quality hook. Excellent match for 4-5" swimbait bodies like Berkley swimshad or Big Hammer swimbaits. Round head facilitates better wobble than flat/shad shaped jig heads. I don't find teh extra cost for the painted heads worth the money. I see no impact on my strike ratio when using unpainted vs. painted. Shad body & retrieve factors are much more important.

I love these jigheads for hand poured swimbaits and hollow belly type swimbaits. I wish the hook size was bigger on the 1/2 oz size, but I still land 85% of my hits on the 1/2 oz jighead. I also use the 3/4 oz jigheads and like the bigger hook size on it. The heavier weight makes it easier for jumping fish to throw the hook so try not to allow your fish to jump. Pike will be all over the swimbaits so use a leader, or you will have to buy more jigheads. This spring I had a 40+ inch pike hit my 1/2 oz jighead with a 5" swimbait and the pike broke my leader. They catch a lot of fish.

I got these to put on my big striper baits. I am very pleased. They have long shank and are perfectly weighted. I got the 3/4 oz weight one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mozo Great jig head for Swim Baits
In Fisherman editor Doug Stange has been promoting Swim Baits rigged with Salt Water Jig Heads by Owner. Owner is hard to find and more expensive. Kalin Salt water jig heads in 1/2, 3/4 and 1 oz. work great with 4, 5 and 6 inch Hand Poured Swim Baits and Hollow Belly Swim Baits. The action seems to be irresitible for Pike, Walleye, Largemouth, Smallmouth, Strippers and who knows what else. Fish em down to 10 or 12 feet with the 1 oz. Fairly aggressive and consistent retrieve with a slight pause. Let them sink to the appropriate depth, 1 foot per second or so, then reel em in. I use braided line and add a tieable steel leader with a double uni knot for toothy critters.
