I purchased this pump to replace a Mayfair 1600 GPH that went bad. The Johnson base had identical mounting holes, and the outlet was so close to the old pump that I was able to install it without making any modifications to my existing bilge pump system. You could easily use this pump as a direct replacement for the Mayfair, and it is more readily availible.
