Rated 5 out of 5 by most versatile fishing lure Quality lure at a great price. This lure works anywhere, any season on any species. A must have for all fisherman! March 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Lures I just changed over my entire tackle box to Joe's Flies Lures. Right out of the package I was catching fish on the very first casts. The spot I was in helped also... but these lures are as described. I will not use anything but from now on. There is a salt water line also that I will be using. Anytime you can outfish your buddy after you've missed an all day fishing derby, using Joes's Flies Lures, speaks for itself. July 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great lures My husband loves these lures. They are hard to get in stores and the price through Bass Pro was good. I was disappointed at the time it took to receive the package so that could be improved otherwise very happy with purchase. July 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Lures I just started using these lures about two months ago and they catch fish. Since I'm fishing a spotsmen club pond I just love the 1/4 oz. ones. The gold, nickel and fire tiger blades all worked for me. Trout, bass and catfish all hit these lures. The rods I use our 6'-6" light weight-fast action. Berkley Trilene 4lb. test (smooth) is my go to line. June 10, 2013

They vary from 1/8 to 1 and 1/4.
Use 1/8 to 1/2 on 6lb test mono for best results. Don't forget to tie on directly.

they have the 1/8 oz and they are light, we like the 1/4 oz easier to cast. we fish from a boat and throw to the shore and bring the fish to us. bass like to lay near the shore.

This lure is 1/4 ounce. I use it in North GA trout streams . Don't be concerned about the size. I have caught trout from 9 inches to 5 pounds.

A:
its 1/4 oz, its casts like a beauty and is way better for catching trout than the short strikers, which you can get at 1/8 oz. It doesn't sink fast because of the dynamics within the lure, so its perfect .

A:
The super striker are 1/4oz in weight and the short striker is what i use for trout in streams. The larger 1/4oz super striker may target larger lake trout or larger trout looking for a larger meal. Sometimes size matters with the bigger fish. I've seen the bite slow down when the bigger fish come in to see what the smaller fish are doing. This is when i up size my lures. Joes flies has that assortment to do so.
