Clean and quiet, the Jiffy STX Pro II Lectric Ice Drill utilizes the latest technology in batteries, the completely sealed Absorbed Glass Mat battery. The STX Pro II Lectric Ice Drill is fitted with a heavy-duty electric motor and a High Torque Transmission with a heavy-duty clutch. (This HTT Transmission allows 30% more holes to be drilled on a single battery charge.) This drill will cut up to 20 holes through 24'' of ice if used continuously; it will last even longer when used intermittently. Other features include a new E-Z Connect Connection Collar which allows you to disconnect the drill asembly without tools. Stealth Cutting Technology provides a smoother, faster cutting surface. The Jiffy STX Pro II Lectric Ice Drill comes with an 8'' Stealth STX drill assembly. Manufacturer's 1-2-3 Year Warranty (1 yr. motor, 2 yr, transmission, 3 yr. STX blades). Made in USA.

Rated 1 out of 5 by power vs gas I bought this ager in july finaly got it out on the ice and not very happy with it. if the ice is about 3 inch thick its wounderful and fast but when the ice gets to 1 or 2 foot or more the battier wont hold out as a gas motor ager would. With 3 inch of ice you might get 10 holes out of one charge but with a full charge with 1 to 2 foot of ice you get 3 or 4 holes in one charge. December 17, 2011

The JIFFY STX PROII LECTRIC requires a 12 volt, deep cycle, lead acid battery. Jiffy recommends an AGM battery.

Recharge time wil depend on your battery and battery charger.
