Jake's Li'l Jake Lure
Worth it's weight in gold!
My wife and I were on vacation in Branson. We rented a cabin on the shores of Taneycomo. I tried everything in my arsenal. I tried crank baits, inline spinner baits. Power bait, dough bait and everything in every size and color. I was ready to call it a game and give up my trout quest. Then a friendly worker in the Bass Pro Shops in Branson Landing recommended this weird looking thing in gold and red. Another (local) shopper overheard and recommended it as well. I was still skeptical but purchased the last 2 off the rack. The next morning I tried my luck again with everything in my tackle bag except for this. I was about to give up and switched to the Lil Jake. I'll be darned if on my second cast, landed a nice 16 inch rainbow. This started the frenzy. This turned into one of the best days fishing in my life trout after trout i had well over a dozen in less than an hour. The rest of the trip Was great filled with rainbows and even browns. As a bonus I hooked into some nice smallies near a feeder creek as well! Honestly one of the best lures money can buy. I almost forgot to mention it is heavy enough to cast into the next county.

This lure is very similar to the Super Duper, but I find the fish like this one better. Great for trout and pan fish. You can't go wrong with these.

First time I tried this lure
I tried the gold with red dots version at a sportsmen club pond and caught the largest trout I ever caught there since I joined three years ago. Trouble is, when I flipped it up on the bank, it broke my line and flopped back into the pond with my lure still in its lip.

Great for Trout
I purchased these lures, not because they are made in my hometown, but I am getting back into some trout fishing in the high country and these lures and size are great not onliy for streams but also for mountain lakes, the silver and gold are the best, Chart is great for perch, wish they woulld make one in orange.
