Jake's Li'l Jake Lure
Great lure... Hooks aren't the best
Have used this lure a couple of times now. Has caught blue gil (lower elevation mountain lake ~5K Feet) and Brook Trout, and Cutthroat Trout (Higher elevation mountain lake ~10K Feet).
So far have only used the gold with red dots. Plan on getting more in the future of this size in other colors.
Use a slow steady retrieve for best action. Plan on trying this lure on bass in the near future as well.

Jakes Spin a Lure
I have used the Gold,White ,Black and Silver lures for years and the Gold is my favorite although the black has caught the biggest fish for me. I have over 100 lures and when nothing else works I pull out the Jakes. I have caught Lake trout, Rainbow, Cutthroat, Brookies, Bass,Northern Pike and even Bluegill and Perch on these lures. Can't wait to add the new colors.

Li'l Jake- good buy
I've picked up extra fish with this downsized version. A good spoon to have.
Somedays - the spoon to have.
Caught alot of trout on the silver and gold colors. I have confidence in these spoons.
Think I will get some other colors, try it on bass and other species here locally.
A slow steady retrieve works best for me. Good erratic action, triggers bites.
Imagine it would work well on smallmouth and largemouth. But, I've never tried it.

Great for Trout
I purchased these lures, not because they are made in my hometown, but I am getting back into some trout fishing in the high country and these lures and size are great not onliy for streams but also for mountain lakes, the silver and gold are the best, Chart is great for perch, wish they woulld make one in orange.
