After only a day of fishing the Squad - Ghost Mnnow - it started leaking internally and is now a sinking, not suspending, lure. I am sure they will do me right and send me a new one, but I would hope any lure like that should survive bouncing off of docks and an occasional rock for more than just a day (not even the pros can do a perfect cast now, can they?). Having said that, the squad series of suspending jerkbaits has the best action of any lure i have used!! I really mean that! They wiggle with even the slightest pull - you can count on it - a very important feature for the ever-more-popular suspending lure fishing approach.

Recently orederd a 4 1/2" squadminnow in tennesee shad and anxiously awaited its delivery. Recieved the bait on saturday and took it out today in light rain and 37 degree temp.I live in Indiana and the water is still way below 40 degrees,but the squadminnow performed flawlessly.We had a ton of rain yesterday so the water was extremely muddy;everyone always talks about using them in clearer water, but the rattle and suspending action had the bass going crazy. Best catch of the day was a 7 pound monster! I cant wait to continue using gem in spring,summer,and fall...if bass fishing is your thing and you dont have a squadminnow in you tackle...GET ONE!

SQUAD UP! If you hear this coming from my boat, I am putting on this bait, and it is going to catch me fish. I use the 4" bait, pick any color you want, and go cover some water. If you fish around places where there are other fish that like to eat bass baits, use heavier line. It's all fun and games till that 3 foot Gar SQUADS UP and the boat and you are left SQUADLESS. If you are halfway decent with a rip bait, you can get a quick limit on this thing just about any time of year, in any water that has decent clarity. SQUAD UP, yo.
